Lithium Ionization Energy

The Lithium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Lithium.
Li -> Li+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Lithium is:
LiN+ -> Li(N+1)+ + e-

Lithium Ionization Energy

Li -> Li1+ = 513.3 kJ/mol = 122.80 Kcal/mol
Li1+ -> Li2+ = 7298 kJ/mol = 1745.93 Kcal/mol
Li2+ -> Li3+ = 11814.8 kJ/mol = 2826.51 Kcal/mol
